Services

We gather on Sunday mornings to sense the togetherness of our religious community, to raise our voices in song as one, to contemplate a topic of importance, to be challenged, to experience an uplifting change of heart.

Our Sunday morning services are held at 10:30 am. Our services are led by visiting ministers, guest speakers, and lay members of our congregation, and usually include: ringing a bell, lighting a chalice, some announcements, an opportunity for newcomers to introduce themselves if they wish, readings, stories, songs, instrumental music, a sermon, an offering to support the congregation and to help the needy in our community, an opportunity to share the joys and sorrows of our lives, and more. The themes and structures of our services vary from week to week, so we invite you to come to several, in order to get a fuller sense of our congregation.

We offer Religious Education for ages 3 – 18 and child care for little ones.  Usually, the kids are in the sanctuary for the first part of the service, and then leave to attend their RE experiences. Occasionally, there is a chapel service just for children and youth.

Whoever you are, whatever your spiritual path, however you feel or speak or move, whomever you love, you are welcome! You are also welcome to join us for coffee, tea, cocoa, and conversation in our social hall after the service.
