Welcome!  This page answers some frequently asked questions posed by persons visiting our congregation for the first time.  Call the office if you have other questions!

Q:  Is there a dress code?  What should I wear?
A:  There is no dress code!  Some members feel comfortable wearing jeans and a sweater, others wear a suit-and-tie or nice dress.  Its up to you.  Be comfortable.

Q:  What about my children?
A:  We have a nursery for the youngest (free of charge).  Older children, 4+,  are welcome to join our Children's Religious Education classes.  And, of course, children are more than welcome to stay with their parents for the entire service.

Q:  May I stay after the service and enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea or cocoa) and meet members and get to know the UUCGT?
A:  Well,        ...OK!

Q:  Should I bring anything?
A:  Yes!  An open mind and a loving heart are appreciated!  If you would like to bring a canned good or similar item, we do make a collection for the local food pantry.

Q:  How about those of us who are differently-abled?
A:  No problem!  The entire facility is wheelchair accessible.

Q: My wife claims I need hearing assistance.  I can't tell her its really just a case of selective hearing...
A:  Need a little auditory assistance?  Our services are broadcast to a number of neat little "personal radios".  Just request one from the smiling "greeters" you'll meet at the door!
