Sunday, Apr. 4 — Services:  9:30 and 11:00am
Childcare: 9:30am, RE:  11:00am
“Ordinary Miracles”
Rev. Kevin Tarsa and Karen McCarthy, DRE, Vocal Ensemble and more...
Our Easter Sunday service will focus on the ordinary miracles that surround us each and every day of our lives.  All ages welcome.

Sunday, Apr. 11 — Services:  9:30 and 11:00am
Childcare: 9:30am, RE: 11:00am
“Billions Behind Bars”
Gary Singer
Aside from defense, there is no greater abuse of resources, both human and financial, than the U.S. prison system.  Michigan is one of the worst offenders and alone is responsible for spending 2 billion tax dollars per year to achieve a 70% failure rate.  We will analyze this foundering monster and hear stores of one man's experiences inside the human warehouse.

Sunday, Apr. 18 — Services:  9:30 and 11:00am
Childcare: 9:30am, RE: 11:00am
“Pausing Refreshes”
Rev. Chip Roush
Once a national holiday, Fast Day was the opposite of Thanksgiving: a day of contrition and fasting, on a Thursday in April.  Revived by some UUs in 2003, this Thursday will be the 8th annual modern Fast Day.  How an absence can make us feel more present.

Sunday, Apr. 22 — Services:  9:30 and 11:00am
Childcare: 9:30am, RE: 11:00am
“Fast Day Break-Fast”
Rev. Chip Roush
Our annual Fast Day celebration: after fasting (from some or all foods) for a day, we meet together and break our fast with a potluck meal.  By sharing our experiences, we make deeper meaning of our fast.

Sunday, Apr. 25 — Services:  9:30 and 11:00am
Childcare: 9:30am, RE: 11:00am
“The Wait”
Rev. Chip Roush; Paul Ward, voice and guitar
Is weightism the last socially acceptable prejudice?  How about ageism--should senior citizens and minors have different rights than middle-aged adults?  How does mental illness compromise a person's rights?  Standing in line with those wait for justice...
